The René Herse Bon Jon Pass tire is our Goldilocks tire: at 700C x 35 mm, it's suitable for bikes that have extra clearance around Stampede Pass (32 mm), but not enough for Barlow Pass (38 mm). We name our tires after the mountain passes that inspired them: Bon Jon Pass is a remote pass on the Olympic Peninsula. The moderate gradient lets you let your bike fly, and these tires are perfect for the smooth gravel surface of the pass and the chip-sealed asphalt that covers the approach.

Specifications

The soft casing of our Rene Herse all-terrain tires rolls smoothly over uneven surfaces. The tread pattern interlocks with the road surface for superior grip in corners, whether your roads are wet or dry. The tread has sufficient thickness in the center to last for many miles, but it's thin and flexible on the shoulders where it won't wear. All models feature: Clincher, folding bead.
